Pilot
Hi, my name is Brandon Coots and I am a 19 year old automotive photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. I got into photography in October of 2014 when I went to a local car meet Caffeine and Exotics which is hosted the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8am to 11am. The only camera I had on me at the time was my iphone 5, and I started playing around with different angles and such. Needless to say, I was not into photography by any means until this point. That Christmas I recieved my first real camera which was a Sony a6000 mirrorless camera with a 16-55mm sony kit lense. With this camera, I began to learn about editing photos and converting raw files. This camera took me on many journeys including my first real photoshoot and my California trip where I started to get my first quality photos. My current camera setup is a Canon T6S DSLR with a 18-135mm lense, Hoya Circular Polarizer, Canon Lense Hood, 3 Batteries, 6 32GB SD Cards, 1 16GB, and 1 4GB SD Cards as well as a over the shoulder sling camera strap. I wasn't trying to make this a long post by anymeans, but feel like it's good to give a breif history of how I started and the equiptment I have gone through. The reason I went through my photography history by describing my camera gear is because the gear itself is not the important part, you can start photography with any camera and still end up with some good results. Ending this introductory post, I will be posting stories about my experiences from my previous, current, and some future trips and photoshoots, as well as some tutorials and tips on photography. The final thing I will be using this blog for is showcasing my favorite edited photos and explaining how I got to the end result.
